Cities of the Aegean — an ancient Greek city builder · Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Who we are

Cities of the Aegean is sold by AKJ Holdings LTD, Roupel 11, 8025, Cyprus. Questions and support: info@citiesoftheaegean.com.

2. The game and the free tutorial

Cities of the Aegean is a city-building game that runs in your web browser. The guided tutorial is free to play, with no time limit. The story mode, the free-build sandbox, saved cities and save-file downloads require a one-time purchase of €4.99 plus VAT where applicable, shown at checkout. A tutorial city is practice: it is not saved and cannot be downloaded, though buying the game lets you keep the city you built there.

3. Your license

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable lifetime license to play Cities of the Aegean, tied to the email address used at checkout. You may play on any devices you personally use; the "restore by email" link is how you move between them. The license is for you — sharing restore links or the license itself with others is not permitted. There is no account and no subscription.

4. Delivery and withdrawal

The game is delivered immediately in your browser once payment completes. At checkout you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby waive the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital content in the EU. See our refund policy for what we do beyond the legal minimum.

5. Saves and your data

Your cities are saved in your own browser (and in save files you download). We do not store your saves on our servers — clearing your browser data deletes local saves, so use the in-game 💾 button for anything you care about. See the privacy policy for what little we do process.

6. Updates and availability

All future updates to the game are included in your purchase. Cities of the Aegean is provided as a hosted browser game; we intend to keep it available indefinitely and will make reasonable efforts to do so. Should we ever discontinue hosting, we will make reasonable efforts to provide license holders with an offline-playable version first.

7. Refunds and revocation

Refunds are handled per the refund policy. A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the license.

8. Liability

The game is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the video game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer — including rights concerning digital content that is not in conformity — remain unaffected.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above tells you when we last did. Material changes never take away a license you have already bought.
