Try before you buy

The fairest refund policy is a real trial: the whole guided tutorial is free to play, with no time limit, before any payment. If you buy, the city you built in the tutorial carries over into the full game.

The legal part

EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content delivered immediately, that right is waived when you expressly consent at checkout to immediate access — which the Cities of the Aegean checkout asks for. This is the standard arrangement for instantly delivered games.

Our goodwill policy

If the game does not run properly for you — it fails to load, breaks on your device, or you bought it twice by accident — write to info@citiesoftheaegean.com within 14 days of purchase from the email you bought with, ideally with your Stripe receipt number. We will help you get it working or refund you. We are not interested in keeping money from someone whose game does not work.

After a refund

A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the license: the game returns to free-tutorial rules on devices where it was restored. Locally stored saves remain yours.

Faulty content

None of the above limits your statutory rights where the digital content is not in conformity with the contract.
